1. Introduction
At the time you download or use the application, these policies will apply.
We detail the types of information we collect, use, share and secure.
You are not allowed to copy, modify or extract the source code of the application.
We are committed to ensuring that the application is as efficient and secure as possible, and because of this, we may make changes to the application.
2. Author of the app
Magdalm (the "Author"), developer and publisher of the package id: com.magdalm.whosonmywifipro and name: Who's on my wifi pro (the "Software") on Google Play Store.
3. Use and safety
We are not responsible for any version of the application that has not been downloaded and installed through the Google Play Store.
Application obtained from unofficial sources may contain malicious code, be modified without our consent, or not function properly.
We make sure to implement the necessary security measures, however we are not responsible for any loss, direct or indirect.
User is responsibility to keep your phone and access to the application secure.
We advise you not to root your phone as this may cause the app to not work properly.
If you use the app without a WiFi connection, check the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider so that no data usage charges apply.
Charges may also apply if you use the app outside your territory (ie region or country) without turning off data roaming.
If you're not the line owner of the device you're using the app on, remember that we assume you've obtained the owner's permission to use the app.
4. WiFi network use
Scanning should only be performed for legitimate and diagnostic purposes.
The user is responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions to scan devices on networks where they do not have permission.
We are not responsible for any improper use of the scanning functionality.
5. Data transmissions
Data transmitted outside the device is encrypted in transit using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. Local network transmissions may use HTTP due to technical constraints of certain local network protocols and device web interfaces (for example, UPnP-related communication).
6. App data
Preferences and database information are stored locally on the device. Sensitive information is encrypted to help protect your data.
The creation and management of backup copies are the responsibility of the user.
The user can delete the application data at any time through Settings > Privacy Settings > Delete Data, as an additional security measure, when the user uninstalls the app, the device delete this data.
7. Password protected profiles
Users may choose to protect individual profiles with a master password. This password is created and stored locally on the user's device and is never sent to any server or shared externally.
Important: If you forget your master password, it cannot be recovered. For security reasons we do not have access to the password or any encrypted profile.
To change the master password, all protected profiles must be deleted first. This can be done within the app: Settings > Privacy Settings > Delete Data > Protected Profiles (Change Password).
8. How do we use local network permission?
The local network permission is used to identify and display information about your devices connected to your WiFi network.
This information is not shared with third parties.
9. How do we use location permission?
The location permission is only used while the app is in use.
It is used to display information about the WiFi network you are connected to and nearby available WiFi networks.
This information is not collected or shared.
10. How do we use notification permission?
We use the notification permission to notify the user when new devices are found.
This information is not collected or shared.
11. How do we use camera permission?
Camera permission is used only to scan WiFi QR codes.
This information is not collected or shared.
12. How do we use Bluetooth permission?
Bluetooth permission is only used while the app is in use.
It is used to display information about nearby available Bluetooth devices.
This information is not collected or shared.
13. How do we identify the device manufacturer?
If the MAC address is available, only the OUI portion is sent to our server to identify the device manufacturer.
This information is used only to process the request, is deleted after the request is completed, and is not shared with third parties.
14. ISP information
The app connects to our server to obtain Internet Service Provider (ISP) information. As part of that connection, the server may receive the public IP address associated with the request and use it only to determine provider information, such as the provider name and country.
If the connection is routed through a VPN or proxy service, the detected provider information may correspond to that service instead of the user’s Internet provider.
This information is used only to process the request, is deleted after the request is completed, and is not shared with third parties.
15. Internal browser
The internal browser is only used to open device web interfaces accessible from the local network.
This information is not collected or shared.
16. Children's privacy
We do not collect or share personal information from children under the age of 16.
17. Disclaimer, limitation of liability
The user acknowledges that the software may not be free of defects and may not meet all needs.
Installation and use of the software is at the user's own risk.
The software is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranty.
In no event shall the author be liable for damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
18. House Ads
This app may display promotions for other applications from the same developer. These promotions are loaded dynamically within the app.
No personal data is collected or shared in relation to these promotions.
19. Third party links, services and advertisements
This application may contain links, services or advertisements from third parties that are not subject to this privacy policy.

By default, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform SDK collects and shares the following data types automatically for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes.
Collects device's IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.
Collects the Android advertising (ad) ID, which can be used to determine whether to display the consent message.
Collects user product interactions and interaction information, including app launch, taps, and video views.
